Join Winnipeg Roller Derby League’s September 2026 New Skater Intake! If you’ve been thinking about joining us on the track, now’s your chance to lock in your spot.

🗓 First practice is Monday, September 14th at 7:00 PM.

This New Skater Intake will run every Monday from 7pm-9pm until December 14th

📍 Location: TBD, but if you get registered with us, you’ll be the first to know!

🛼 No experience needed—we’ll teach you everything from the ground up!

This year, we have three payment options to choose from:

• MONTHLY INSTALLMENTS:

  • J$50 deposit at registration, with additional $50 payments due in October and November. Total cost: $150 (plus applicable gear rental fees)

• EQUITY:

  • $25 deposit at registration, with additional monthly payments of $25. Total cost: $75 (plus applicable gear rental fees)

  • The equity payment plan is available for anyone who self-identifies as:

    • Indigenous or a member of the Global Majority, or

    • Someone experiencing socioeconomic barriers, including low-income families or low-resource communities

• JUNIORS

  • Junior skaters (ages 12–17) pay $25 per month for the New Skater Intake program, for a total cost of $75 (plus applicable gear rental fees). A $25 deposit is due at registration, with additional $25 payments due in October and November.
