Saturday, July 3, 2010 Winnipeg’s Murder City Maidens will take on the Fargo Moorhead Derby Girls at the Winnipeg Convention Centre.
Tickets are available through Ticketmaster.ca or at any Ticketmaster outlet.
The cost per ticket is $15.90 including all the service fees and taxes.
Doors open 6:30pm.
This event is rated PG13.

Melanie Regnier of the Hungover Empire reinvigorates fashion by showcasing the renewal of the abandoned wardrobe, this time with skaters from the Winnipeg Roller Derby League.

Roller Derby Hoedown
After being cooped up in a farmer’s quonset all winter, practicing amongst the hay bales, tractors, cows and chickens, the RDRDA clan can’t wait to get out. Come see the Belladonnas take on Winnipeg’s Murder City Maidens in a good ol` fashioned Derby Hoedown Saturday, April 10th, 2010.
Not only is it a great family event, you can watch some utterly amazing derby action! The girls have been dyin’ to drop the garden hoes and hit some hoes. Come dressed showing support of these redneck gals. There will be prizes for the best overall costumes at the end of the game!
DOORS open at 6pm, Game starts at 7pm
LOCATION Prairie Pavillion at Westerner Park, 4847A-19 Street, Red Deer, AB
PARENTS please bring your kids! We are hoping to do something special for them at half-time! There will also be a PRIZE for best costume!!
TICKETS $10 in advance, $12 at door or $10 with a costume. Kids 12 & under free with food bank donation item. Advanced tickets are available for sale at Sharks Garage, Babaycakes Cupcakery, The Red Deer Taboo Show, Salon Bellissimi or from your favorite roller derby girl!!!
SEATING may be limited on the good old bleachers so feel free to bring your own camping/folding chairs, suicide seating is available, first come first seated. Remember if you catch a derby girl you do have to give her back!
AFTER PARTY anyone interrested in hanging out with the girls or find out more about the game are welcome to stop by after party. More details to come…

Be part of history on Saturday, February 27, 2010 as women's roller derby returns to Winnipeg after a 30 year absence! This exciting event is the inaugural bout of the Winnipeg Roller Derby League (WRDL).
The WRDL's Murder City Maidens will take on the Babes of Thunder from Thunder Bay, Ontario for 60 hardcore minutes of full contact women's flat track roller derby action.
And as an added bonus for this historic event, you get an additional 30 minutes of roller derby fun with Canada's finest derby rookies as they crash it up in the Black vs. Red Rookie Rumble.
Live entertainment at halftime, custom WRDL merchandise for sale and beer and liquor available.
We recommend parental discretion for children under 13.
